Mansfield Juvenile Treatment Center is a secure residential program serving up to 48 male youth ages 12 to 17 who present with moderate- to high-risk behaviors, including aggression, gang involvement, and conduct challenges. Operated under an academy-style model, Mansfield promotes personal growth through education, character development, and structured physical activity.
Using an integrated and individualized approach, the program combines strengths-based, trauma-responsive, and gender-specific practices grounded in social learning theory and positive youth development. Each youth works closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop a treatment plan tailored to his specific risk factors, behavioral needs, and goals.
Therapeutic services include cognitive-behavioral interventions, mental health and substance use treatment, and targeted skill-building to support emotional regulation and personal growth. The campus-like environment fosters meaningful social interaction and peer learning, while team sports reinforce physical wellness, self-discipline, leadership, and prosocial behavior.
With tailored programming, academic support, and a strong focus on accountability and resilience, Mansfield empowers youth to take ownership of their futures and thrive both within the program and beyond.
